Mother's Tree [Commission]

Just finished this full color digital commission for

A solemn scene featuring Phoenix a wolf/tiger hybrid speaking with the spirit if his deceased mother.

When he was a child Phoenix's mother, a white tigress was killed at the hands of his father, a half wolf half demon and the fierce leader of bandit raiders. Phoenix buried his mother in the woods and from her remains a tree sprouted, the young hybrid came to consider the tree to be his mother. Growing up Phoenix became a ruthless warrior dealing out his own sense of justice to bandits and thieves, overtime regret fills his heart. He visit's his mother tree often, speaking to his mother's spirit he often wishes he was a less violent person and talks of his struggle with his sense of self.

An emotional scene to depict but was still fun to work on I don't get to do story driven scenes like this often.  :3
